Sections

Sections turn a page of text into a composed page. Each one is a full-width block above the page's text: a banner, a grid of cards, a row of figures, an FAQ. You pick a kind, fill in its fields, and the site lays it out.

Pages and blog posts carry sections, in the Page sections field. One item holds up to twenty.

Adding a section

  1. In the editor, find Page sections.
  2. Under Add a section, press a kind.
  3. Fill in its fields. A text field opens for writing when you press it, with headings, lists, links and images.
  4. For a kind with entries, such as cards, press Add an entry for each one.
  5. Save.

Press Choose an image to pick a picture from Media. Move up, Move down and Remove section arrange them. The site shows them in the editor's order.

The site's search reads the text in your sections, after a title and before the body. See Search.
