Aptli CMS guide
Aptli CMS runs your organization's public website. Staff write pages, news, notices, events and places in the admin workspace, in every language the site offers, and publish them when they are ready. Paired with your Aptli instance, the website also carries its forms, its community map and answers to residents' questions.
This guide follows the admin workspace screen by screen.
- Getting started: signing in, the authenticator, and the shape of the admin workspace.
- Content: pages, posts, notices, events, places and service links, the sections you build them from, media, maps, revisions and publishing.
- Your site: navigation, the homepage, branding, redirects, search, social media and RSS, subscribers, the contact form, analytics and accessibility.
- The service hub: pairing with Aptli, and the hub forms, map and answers on your pages.
- Languages: writing and publishing the same content in more than one language.
- Staff and roles: adding staff, the roles, limiting an editor's reach and removing access.
Who uses the CMS
- Editors write and edit content, upload media and read the contact inbox.
- Administrators also add staff, shape the whole site and connect it to the hub.
Each person sees the screens their role allows, and the server checks the same role on every change.
