Work order management

Aptli sends the right person to the asset, works with no signal, and closes the incident when the job is done.

Incidents and work orders sit on the asset they touch. Dispatch ranks who should go, and crews file their reports from the phone.

What it does

  • Incidents

An incident records when it was reported, when it occurred and when it ended, and its cause. The work order that fixes it closes it.

  • Maintenance and work orders

A work order sits on its asset or under a parent work order, with its own shape and dates. Preventive work opens by days or by meter. Reports file what was done and validations check it.

  • Scheduling and dispatch

Dispatch ranks people for each work order by their skills, their free time, their distance and their load. Each person accepts or declines.

  • Field operations

Crews work from the phone with photos, checklists and signatures. A save with no signal waits on the device and sends on reconnect.

  • Stock and equipment

Stock is an asset with a count. Pickups, transfers and supplier orders move it, and live location shows who holds what.

Technical details
  • One work order kind serves every asset class, on its asset or under a parent work order.
  • Preventive maintenance opens work on a calendar interval or a meter interval.
  • Dispatch ranks people by skill, free time, distance and load, and each person accepts or declines.
  • Photo capture records the GPS accuracy of the fix.
  • A report goes to review, and the reviewer returns pass, fail or needs revision with comments.
  • Stock is held per site, and a transfer is an offer the recipient accepts or declines.
  • Each person's stock account holds what is signed out to them until it is used, returned or handed on.
  • Consumption posts against the work that used it, and unused material returns to stock from the same report.
  • A stocktake reconciles a count against the record, and each varied line writes its own adjustment.
  • An iCal feed publishes scheduled work to a calendar.
