Guides

Aptli user guide

Aptli manages your assets on a map, shows what to fix next, and carries each asset through its lifecycle. Each guide walks one part of the work, screen by screen.

Aptli user guide

Aptli keeps an organization's records in one application: its map, its assets, the work on them, the requests the public sends, what people owe and the permits they hold. Staff plan and review at a desk. Field staff put work in from a phone.

This guide follows the application page by page.

  • Getting started: the menu, search, the assistant, your home page and the phone.
  • Lists and records: how every list page and every record window works.
  • Requests: asking another area for stock, work, a charge or a permit.
  • Help requests: raising a question on the record it is about, and answering the ones sent to your roles.
  • Forms and Printouts: questions written once and asked anywhere, and the pages records print on.
  • Automations: connecting other systems and the rules that act on their own.
  • My profile: your details, notifications, sign-in and calendar.
  • Administration: users and roles, contacts, settings, the audit trail and system health.
  • Glossary: the words the application uses.

The modules your organization licenses, such as the Map, Assets and inventory, Charges, Permits, the Service portal and Website articles, have their own guides. Sign in to see the ones your account includes.

Tours in the application

Every page carries a short tour that points at its controls in place. A page's tour starts the first time you open it. To see it again, open the menu, then More, then Start tour. The switch beside it turns tours on and off.
